A man sells an article at 5% profit. If he had bought it at 5% less and sold it for Rs. 1 less, he would have gained 10%. Find the CP.
ARs. 200
BRs. 150
CRs. 250
DRs. 100
✓ Correct Answer: A — Rs. 200
Let CP=100x. SP1=105x. New CP=95x. New SP = 1.1*95x = 104.5x. Difference 105x-104.5x = 0.5x. 0.5x=1 => x=2. CP=200.
